Help Protect The Vote
Published on 6/7/2026
As League of Women Voters’ members our mission is to “Empower Voters” and “Defend Democracy.” A cornerstone of our democracy is the guarantee of free, fair, accessible, and accurate elections. This takes commitment from dedicated community members willing to serve as election workers.
As the recent LWVMI newsletter,
League Links
, stated, “League members are especially well suited for this role. Our commitment to civic engagement, voter participation, and nonpartisanship makes us valuable contributors at the polls and early voting sites.”
The ACLU encourages voters to volunteer to Protect and Defend the Vote in 2026 by signing up to volunteer in your area of interest.

You can also contact your local clerk for opportunities to be an election worker in your area.
