You can register to vote AND vote up to 8PM on Election Day. 
VOTE!

All registered voters in Michigan have the right to vote by Absentee Ballot.   
You do not need to have a special need or reason to request an absentee ballot.   

The process of voting by absentee ballot begins with an application for an absentee ballot. 
You can request an absentee ballot from your local clerk's office.  You can also apply online at www.mi.gov/vote and click on "Apply for an absentee ballot online" .  You can also download and print an application form from this website. Click on " Voter forms and publications" and scroll dow to "Absentee Voter Ballot"
An absentee ballot will NOT be sent to you unless you have completed an application.
