All registered voters in Michigan have the right to vote by Absentee Ballot.   
You do not need to have a special need or reason to request an absentee ballot.   

The process of voting by absentee ballot begins with an application for an absentee ballot.  You must request an absentee ballot from your local clerk's office.  An absentee ballot will not be sent to you unless you have completed an application.
