About this event

The Holland Good Trouble Lives On event on July 17, Centennial Park, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. in honor of John Lewis. We’ll hear from student leaders from I AM Academy, and Great Lakes Brass will perform. They “draw from New Orleans traditions, where brass bands express the pulse of communities; celebrating life, mourning loss, and looking ahead.” Pick up (or pack) a picnic dinner to eat there at the park, and bring extra signs to share if you have them. RSVP at this link and then, if you’re a social media user, share on all your platforms!
The LWVUS is encouraging League members to participate in this national day of nonviolent action as people rally, march, host teach-ins, press conferences, and vigils to demand that Congress fight back and protect our freedom to vote!
The Saugatuck/Douglas Indivisible rally will take place on the bridge between Saugatuck and Douglas from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.
