"Know Your Rights"
Knowing your rights and how to react when threatened helps protect your rights and those of others. On June 2, the Immigration Task Force will host a presentation, “Know Your Rights” by Lily Eggers, ACLU Organizing Strategist, at Herrick District Library, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Ms. Eggers’ Bachelor’s and Master’s Social Work degrees focused on community organizing and policy with experience a variety of areas, including voting rights and advocacy across civil rights issues. In her current role, Lily works with people in their communities to educate and organize in pursuit of civil rights and civil liberties protections.
