Candidate Forum to be held on Monday, September 27th

 

The League of Women Voters of Holland Area will sponsor a Candidate Forum for two contested seats for the Holland City Council on Monday, September 27, 2021 from 7-8:30PM in the  Holland City Hall.  The forum will be recorded. The recording, as well as available more information about the November 2nd election, can be found on the League's website (www.lwvholland.org).
NOTE: Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only 25 people will be admitted to the City Council chambers for the Forum.

The forum moderator will ask the questions of the candidates. Community members may submit questions.  If you have a question for the candidates, please click on the button below, complete the form, and submit it by Friday, September 24, 2021.  Personal questions are not acceptable.


Two of the five Holland City Council seats on the November 2nd election are contested:
Quincy Byrd (incumbent) and Ken Freestone are running for the At-Large seat (4 year term).
Belinda Coronado and Mike Mabie are running for the Third Ward seat (4 year term)
All four candidates have confirmed their participation in the forum on the 27th.
