Do You Know Your New Legislative Districts?

Barbara Ferguson | Published on 6/15/2022

As a result of the new maps that were drawn and approved by the Michigan Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission, many legislative district boundaries have changed.  This means that your voting location may be different, the number of your district may have changed, and you may have someone new seeking your vote in the August 2nd Primary Election and the November 6th General Election.

You may have received your new voter registration card already from your local clerk.  It will list your polling place and each of the legislative districts in your area:
U.S. House of Representatives
Michigan State Senate
Michigan House of Representatives.
Your county district will also be listed.

If you have not received your voter registration card, you can go to the Michigan Voter Information Center  to find your districts.

If you are not yet registered to vote, be sure to register soon so that you will be eligible to vote in the August 2, 2022 Primary Election. To learn how to register, go to our Voter Registration Page.

Maps of the new legislative districts are included below. The key to the districts and boundaries are in the bottom margin of each map.
