Events - Future Events View

Presentation by Outdoor Discovery Center & Ottawa County Conservation District on local water quality monitoring to identify future pollution reduction efforts. At its November meeting, the Water Resources/Climate Task Force reviewed its plans for a presentation on the Ottawa County Water Quality Initiative February 18. Sarah Bowman, Ottawa Conservation District Watershed and Conservation Specialist, and a team member from the Outdoor Discover Center team will discuss the initiative. This grant-funded initiative will support water quality monitoring through 2029. Click here for more information about the initiative. The program, to be held at Herrick District Library, will be open to all league and community members.

This presentation is about the proposals that may be on the 2026 ballot. This is purely an educational presentation that focuses on the ballot proposals that could go before Michigan voters in 2026. The presentation covers the petitions that are currently being circulated, and the proposal that is already on the 2026 ballot.
