Herrick District Library
Conference Room
At the January meeting we will bring our suggestions for books we will read in 2026. All LWVHA members are invited to attend to suggest a book or just to listen.
Herrick Library North Branch
Each year members have an opportunity to review league positions and provide feedback to the state or national league. This review is called “program planning” in league lingo because the program of action or advocacy at all levels of the league (local, state, and national) is grounded in these policy positions. This year, chapters will be reviewing LWVUS positions in preparation for adoption at the national convention in June. This local, grassroots review and discussion is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the League of Women Voters’ history and future direction and to participate in a meaningful discussion with our own Holland Area league members.
